Empowering Every Child's Unique Journey
Therapy that honours difference, builds connection, and sparks growth.
At North Shore Kids Therapy, we celebrate neurodiversity and provide tailored support to help children thrive in their own unique ways.
Helping Children Thrive Through Neuro-Affirming Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy & Behaviour Support
At North Shore Kids Therapy, we provide paediatric occupational therapy, speech therapy, and behaviour support across Sydney’s North Shore. Our team specialises in supporting children with sensory processing, emotional regulation, social skills, communication, motor skills, and daily routines. We use a neurodiversity-affirming, relationship-based, and neuroscience-informed approach, working in partnership with families, schools, and childcare centres.
Whether your child needs help with speech and language development, emotional and sensory regulation, behaviour challenges, handwriting, motor planning, or building friendships, our experienced therapists provide practical strategies, play-based sessions, and family-centred support – in our fully equipped sensory gyms, at school, or online.
Our Comprehensive Allied Health Services
Therapy Services for Children and Adolescents
Occupational Therapy
We provide occupational therapy to support children’s regulation, motor skills, and participation in everyday routines. Our approach helps children build confidence, independence, and a strong sense of self in home, school, and community life.
Speech Therapy
We offer speech therapy to support communication skills, language development, and social interaction, helping children express themselves effectively. Our therapists work in playful, engaging ways that honour each child’s unique communication style.
Behaviour Support
Our behaviour support services focus on understanding the “why” behind behaviours and building strategies that nurture connection and wellbeing. We partner with families and educators to create supportive environments that reduce stress and foster growth.
Early Childhood Educator
Our early childhood educators provide play-based, developmental support to build foundational skills in the early years. Through engaging activities and routines, we help children thrive in learning, social, and daily life settings.
Parent Coaching
We provide parent coaching to help families understand their child’s needs, strengthen co-regulation, and discover practical strategies for daily life. Sessions empower parents with tools, insight, and confidence to support their child’s development.
Social Skills & Peer Programs
We run social skills and peer programs that help children practice friendship skills, perspective-taking, and group participation in a supportive setting. These programs use play, shared experiences, and guided interactions to build connection and confidence.
Our Comprehensive Training Solutions for Schools & Early Learning
Educator Training & Support
Professional Development Workshops
We deliver neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed training tailored for schools and childcare. Our sessions translate theory into practice, giving educators tools they can use the very next day.
Sensory-Inclusive Classrooms
We provide workshops and toolkits that help educators create a “Daily Sensory Rhythm” for children. Practical resources make it easy to support regulation, focus, and participation across the whole group.
Co-Regulation in Action
We run multi-part training and coaching series to embed co-regulation into everyday routines. Educators learn how to respond with clarity, connection, and confidence when children are dysregulated.
Inclusion & Environment Audits
We offer on-site consultancy to design sensory- and regulation-friendly classrooms, playgrounds, and shared spaces. Our recommendations help schools and childcare centres foster true inclusion.
Behaviour Support Reframed
We partner with leadership teams to shift policy and practice around behaviour support. Our approach reframes behaviour as communication and guides whole-school change that prioritises wellbeing.
Parent & Community Education
We provide parent nights and workshop series to strengthen home–school collaboration. Sessions focus on sensory needs, co-regulation, and transitions, helping families and educators work together.
Our Why
Vision & Manifesto
We’re reimagining childhood for neurodivergent kids — where safety is felt, differences are honoured, and every child is empowered to grow on their own terms. Through relationship and regulation, we ignite lasting change.
“This is not just therapy. This is advocacy. This is reimagining. This is the quiet, powerful revolution of seeing and supporting every child for who they truly are.”
